Persitara take to the rails

Persitara, prevented from playing their home games in Jakarta, will play Sriwijaya at Surajaya Stadium, Lamongan, this Friday. Back in an automatic relegation spot the side from North Jakarta will take heart from Sriwijaya's recent poor form which has seen them dropping points all over the shop including three against relegation rivals Persita.

But Persitara aren't having the best preparation, with Prince Bello Kabir and his team mates making the long journey east by train. Dunno how long, perhaps figure 8-12 hours depending on the service being used, this is not the first time they have had difficulty getting to away games. Earlier in the season they headed to Papua but only booked a flight as far as Makassar. They then waited their for ages before being able to get onward flights before finally arriving in Wamena just a few hours befor kick off!

Never a dull moment with this lot!

But while there won't be many NJ Mania making the trip east for this particular game, there is some good news for the loyal and true fans. Persitara have been given the go whead to play Persebaya in their outstanding Copa Indonesia tie at Mashud Wishnu Saputra Stadium in Kuningan. West Java.
