Cod, Haddock, Ikan, Plaa, Shark, Tuna

Arema's AFC Champion League campaign ended ignobly with a 5-0 thumping against Chinese side Shandong Luneng.

They went into the game without either of their first choice keepers, Mega Kurnia and Ahmad Kurniawan, as well as influential striker Noh Alam Shah and Roman Chhmelo. Also missing were the likes of Dendi Santoso and Guillen Esteban.

According to the official team sheet they had just four players on the bench.

There was talk that some players' passport got lost during the visa application process.

China doesn't seem to be a happy hunting ground for Indonesian teams does it? For those with long memories Shanghai Shenhua defeated Persik 6-0 in the ACL back in 2007.

You want salt n vinegar with that?

Chinese bureaucratic shenanigans? Bungling by Indonesian management? Both are equally likely. Maybe Arema just couldn't be arsed and kept its senior players at home to focus on the league.
